The Mac app

Caliper stores collections in the folders you choose. Request and response history stays on your Mac and is encrypted. Credentials use macOS protected storage. Caliper does not send your requests, responses, collection files, or credentials to Fortuna E-Services LLC.

Network requests

Caliper connects to the endpoints that you ask it to call. It can also contact Caliper services to check for software updates and to activate or validate a license.

Licensing and payments

Polar processes purchases and issues license keys. License activation sends the license key and a device identifier to the Caliper license service. The service forwards the activation request to Polar. Caliper does not receive or store payment-card details.

The website

The Caliper website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard network data, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. Caliper does not use advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can remove Caliper and its local data at any time. You can deactivate a licensed Mac from Caliper or from the Polar customer portal.
